OUTREACH DIRECTOR

Pastor Lee Almeida serves as the outreach director at Calvary Compassion Church. In 2010 Jesus Christ dramatically impacted and changed his life. The growing passion for God’s word led him to receive a Biblical Studies degree from Calvary Chapel University in 2022. The Lord has given him a heart for God’s people and the community of Fort Pierce. His hope is that everyone will personally experience the love of Christ through the powerful conviction of the Holy Spirit. He is married to his beautiful bride Melissa Almeida, who is his greatest supporter and partner in ministry. God blessed them with a blended family of six grown children and two grandchildren. 

Their sons are Nathaniel, Isaiah, Jermiah, Gabriel, and Shawn, the oldest is their daughter Alexia. The two precious grandbabies are Jenalyse and Artist. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps (Proverbs 16:9)

MEN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Pastor Rod serves as the director of Men’s Ministry, as well as the saxophonist of the worship team for Calvary Compassion Church. He has been serving at Calvary Compassion Church for over ten years. His 30 years of dedicated service as a firefighter paramedic and the love for people has aligned him with the mission of Calvary Compassion Church to love, serve, reach, and teach. Pastor Rod has been married to his beautiful wife and best friend, Toni for over 30 years, who serves alongside him in ministry. They have 3 adult sons, Roderick II, Jamir (who serves as the drummer for Calvary Compassion Church), and Jamal.

EXECUTIVE PASTOR

Pastor Strather "Skip" DuPree oversees the youth ministry at Calvary Compassion Church. Early in life, Skip learned that his professional and life experiences were meant to be used to serve in local ministries and in his community. He dedicated his life to the Lord and has served in various capacities in ministry since 1998. In 2010 Pastor Skip and his wife Sonia co-founded END IT! or Everybody is Not Doing It, a faith-based organization designed to equip preteen and teenaged youth spiritually, socially, emotionally, and artistically to positively influence and inspire change in their environment. END IT! serves youth and families across the Treasure Coast and provides a safe place for teens through various afterschool programs and events. Pastor Skip is married to Sonia DuPree and has three daughters; Simone, Sydney, and Sinclaire.

WORSHIP & TECHNOLOGY

Pastor Corey serves as the Worship and Technology Pastor of Calvary Compassion Church. As the Worship Pastor he oversees a growing team of vocalist, instrumentalists, and production technicians and together they lead our congregation into jubilant and exciting praise and intimate, sincere and transparent worship. Pastor Corey has been serving at Calvary Compassion Church since we opened our doors at Garden City Elementary on September 11, 2011 and he continues to Love, Serve, Reach & Teach the body of Christ through music and technology. He is married to Jannifer Moses who serves along side her husband in ministry.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Latarsha Lewis serves as the Women's Ministry Leader at Calvary Compassion Church. A Fort Pierce native & the second to the youngest of six, growing up in a big family has helped her to appreciate the love and

protection a large family provides. It has also taught her a lot about being neighborly and caring for our community. She is a passionate leader dedicated to serving her community. When asked of her goals, LaTarsha says, "As the leader of the Women’s Ministry, my goal is to inspire and empower others through faith and fellowship. In addition, I

actively serve in the children’s church and on the worship team, using my talents to guide others in worship and spiritual growth." "With a heart for service and a commitment to making a positive impact, I'm deeply involved in nurturing both the spiritual and personal development of those around me. It’s an honor to serve alongside the beautiful men and

women of Calvary Compassion Church."

Lovingly known around Calvary as "Mrs. Jan", Jannifer Moses serves faithfully alongside her husband in ministry as the Children's Ministry Director for Calvary Compassion Church. Being an educator with over two decades of experience in both the public and private school systems of Louisiana and Florida, Mrs. Jan brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to her position. Combined with her aptitude for teaching and her creative approaches to teaching the student, not the subject, Mrs. Jan makes learning about Jesus fun and exciting, while providing an environment that is warm and inviting, captivating and entertaining, and Christ centered so our children are learning from the Word of God in a way that is real, tangible, and designed especially for their minds to process and absorb. An accomplished musician herself, she serves alongside her husband, who is our Worship & Technology Pastor, in the Tech department, where she can be seen helping to produce our weekly live stream to social media, controlling the cameras, lighting, moderating the chat rooms, and directing the media presentations for songs and sermons. She and Pastor Corey have been married since 2013.
