First Time visitors

We know preparing to visit a new church for the first time can be an intimidating, if not, a somewhat overwhelming experience.  If you are looking to visit us, this page is dedicated to you.  We've tried to answer the most common questions that new family has asked about Calvary Compassion Church. Come experience Compassion the way God intended.  You are on your way home and we can't wait to see you!

What should I wear?

You may wear whatever you like. There are some people who wear traditional church attire like suits and ties or dresses.  Many choose business casual (slacks and a button-down shirt), and others wear jeans and t-shirts.  Dress comfortably for you!  It is important to remember that God looks at our hearts, not at our clothing.

Where exactly are you located?

Our address is 4204 Okeechobee Rd, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.  Take I-95 to exit 129 Okeechobee/Fort Pierce or the Turnpike to exit 152/FL-70.  Head east on Okeechobee Rd for 1 mile to the Orange Blossom Business Center.

Where should I park?

You will find parking spaces in the front of the campus. Follow the signs and look for our parking attendants to help direct you.  Please notify a member of our Compassion Staff if you need special assistance to get inside.

What time should I arrive?

Service starts at 10:30 AM and doors open at 10:00 AM to allow you plenty of time to get settled in.  We encourage you to arrive before service starts to meet some very loving people.

What about Covid Precautions?

We are following the latest recommended guidelines from the CDC for Houses of Worship.

Our chairs are currently socially distanced 6ft apart in all directions and grouped into sets of 2, 3, or 4, in order to accommodate most family sizes.  Should you require seating for a larger party, just notify one of our greeters as you enter the main sanctuary.  We also provide hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the sanctuary and at all entrances/exits for your use.  Masks are worn, if you do not have one, we can provide you with one upon request.

Is there something for my kids?

Children's Ministry is on hiatus for now.  Coming Soon in August 2021

If you have kids (Newborn – 5th Grade), you can check them into our Compassion Kids Ministry from 10:15am – 11:00am.

What about teenagers?

Youth start off service in the main sanctuary.  Youth will be dismissed from the main sanctuary to their very own group following praise & worship.

What can I expect during service?

We start with praise and worship promptly at 10:30 AM.  You will be invited to sing along to a blended selection of music from different genres including contemporary christian, gospel, Hymns, and spiritual songs lead my our dynamic worship team and live band consisting of drums, keyboards, organ, saxophone and guitar.  Tambourines are welcomed!

How is the message presented?

We have a chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse approach to teaching the Bible.  Occasionally, a topical message is shared from our pastor, a speaker, or one of our associate pastors.

What do I do after the service?

There will be an opportunity for you to meet our Pastor(s) and Church Leadership.  Don't forget to turn in your connection card to receive your FREE gift as our thank you for worshiping with us.

Will I be videotaped?

When you attend a service at Calvary Compassion Church, you enter an area where photography, audio and video streaming, and live  recording is occurring.  There is a chance you may appear on camera, so smile!
